We've now resolved the incident, and the problematic hardware has been replaced. Thanks for your patience.

Investigating

We are aware of a hardware issue with one of the compute nodes in the Gibraltar Openstack platform, which caused the compute node to power off. Any instances running on this node will have been evacuated to a different node at approximately 18:30 CEST on 27/05, which may have forced a reboot on the instance.

This issue should be isolated to this single compute node, and we do not anticipate any other compute nodes will have the same issue. All instances that were running before the event should now be running as they were. We are currently working to identify and fix the underlying issue.
